BSA Celtic can offer roster positions for the 2020-2021 season to any player that is not currently carded as a competitive player with Ohio South beginning on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
BSA Celtic can offer roster positions for the 2020-2021 season to any player regardless of their carding status beginning on Friday, May 29, 2020.
Rather than trying to delay tryouts, Ohio South has tried to establish guidelines that enable players and clubs to move forward with planning for the 2020-2021 season.
We are in the process of transitioning our player registration system from Blue Sombrero to Demosphere. Within the Demosphere software, we have the capability of moving our current players into the 2020-2021 season. We are in the process of testing this system with the objective of being able to apply partial credits for the canceled spring 2020 season to your family account in Demosphere. These partial credits will then be able to be applied to your player fees for the 2020-2021 season.
We are still waiting on additional refund information from selected leagues and tournaments before we will be able to finalize partial credits for the spring 2020 season. Our expectation is that we will provide families with partial credit information in advance of the May 26th date for player offers for the 2020-2021 season.
We appreciate your patience as we work through the logistics of managing accounts during this challenging time. We will be providing updates over the next couple of weeks with information on our organizational plan for players and teams for 2020-2021.
