Boys U10 BSA Celtic 05 Green Win Middletown Spring Blast
BSA Celtic 05 Green went 4-0 in route to winning the U10 Blue Division Championship at the Middletown Spring Blast, played in Middletown, OH on March 19-20, 2016. After winning the group, the boys faced the Middletown Chelsea White team in the final. The boys gave up a 3-0 lead before storming back to tie the game 3-3 at the final whistle. After each team scored 1 goal in overtime, the boys faced a penalty kick shootout. After all six boys from each team took PKs, it was tied 3-3. The Celtic goalkeeper was able to make a diving save and then the next PK was made, earning the boys their first tournament championship.
